Role Summary

The role of Financial Analyst in the Treasury and Corporate Finance group supports the monitoring of the entity’s daily cash management as well as the forecast of the Legal Entity Operating Income. The role requires developing strong relationships with the entire finance and manufacturing team in order to consolidate the financial planning for the entire organization. Additionally, the role requires a high level of independent judgment and thorough analysis of detailed financial information.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and improve the current year GM of Canada Legal Entity Contract Manufacturing Model and related Transfer Price true up.
- Consolidate and improve the medium and long term, annual and monthly Legal Entity Business Plan and Financial Statement Forecast Model.
- Support and monitor of daily cash movements and activities.
- Liaise with internal & external audit groups on reviews/testing of SOX controls on behalf of the various Treasury & Corporate Finance job functions.
- Liaise with Tax Staff counterparts in Canada and US on issues related to the calculation and assessment of Legal Entity Operating Income and Transfer Price adjustment.
- Analytical support in ad hoc Treasury Projects and Studies.


Required Skills and Experience

- Thorough knowledge of advanced Excel functions and experience in working with a high volume of complex data
- Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to teamwork
- Ability to work within fixed and short time frames
- Willingness to work independently
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates complex problem solving and analytical ability

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Previous Finance or Accounting experience with a good understanding of financial modeling

Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Post Graduate training, ie. MBA, CMA, CA, CGA (Preferred)
