The 14 colleges within GML are: Communications; Engineering; Finance; Global Purchasing and Supply Chain; Human Resources / Labor Relations / Health & Safety; Information Technology; Leadership; Legal; Manufacturing; Product Planning & Program Management; Public Policy; Quality; and Sales, Service and Marketing.

GML uses one dedicated classroom facility in the U.S., located at GM global headquarters in Detroit's Renaissance Center. However, most classes are offered online. In addition, GML relies on affiliated sites and local accommodations in other parts of the globe.
